Miss Sugar Finds a New Home
Long ago, before the great depression, families in Wichita Falls visited Scotland Park to see a gentle elephant named Miss Sugar. She was known for her soft eyes, her patient nature, and her love for children. Kids would bring her treats, wave to her, and laugh when she playfully splashed water or flipped her ears. She wasn't just at an animal in a zoo --- she was a beloved friend to the community.
About Miniature Wonders
Miniature Wonders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit creating a world-class miniature and educational attraction. It will showcase Wichita Falls-Texas-the USA and World landmarks in 1:25 models and interactive displays for families and visitors to enjoy.
Miniature Wonders isn't concerned with precision: it was, and always will be, eccentric, fun and full of character – Miniature Wonders never meant to be taken too seriously.
It’s more than models — it’s a walkable, educational, family-friendly destination that honors where we’ve been and where we’re going.
